Happy New Year

The Prism team wish you a Happy New Year… though judging from the news reports many in the media would appear to prefer it not to be!

Now whilst not ignoring the headwinds facing businesses and UK Plc this year, I cannot help noticing that journalists appear to have fallen into an “all is negative” mindset. If this were a business would we not be questioning the culture?

Most of the businesses we deal with are still reporting strong results – and whilst the past is no guarantee of the future, we remain cautiously optimistic about 2023 in the Technology sector. But that is just our opinion – so we‘d like to get a more quantitative feel for what is going on in the sector. With that aim in mind, we are surveying software and IT services SME owners for their views on their 2022 business performance and how they expect this year to go.
